anyone notice milk spoiling really quickly

last two times I got milk it turned rancid before I could finish it

like one gallon half way through and had to dump it out

happened again today and looked at the date printed on it and it was 8/15 and it was chunky as fuck and had to toss it

admittedly I don't drink the milk fast but I don't ever remember having to toss milk out like this before
