Praying this morning that all US soldiers and personnel are safely evacuated from Afghanistan.

I pray for the women and girls feeling hopeless with the Taliban takeover. Hoping they can find a way out of the country.

I chuckle that DS will lose their poppy fields.

We never should have been there for 20 yrs and mourn for all our soldiers that died there.

But make no mistake. The Taliban are an evil oppressive regime. The people and their soldiers did not have the will to fight them and will now bear the burden of their tyranny.

I pray Jesus returns soon.

I just don't like the Taliban the same as I don't like the Iranian Mullahs. Evil bunch, both of them.

You could be right about them striking a deal.

And…The fact that I don't like them doesn't mean I think we should be over there. We should get out. I think Trump would have had a better exit plan. But who knows.

Mostly my compassion is for the women and girls caught in that culture.

Every man and boy should have fought to the death if they wanted to be free.

Glad we're leaving there.
