Speaking of Afghanistan, looks like someone wanted the Taliban heavily armed. If we are going, this is not necessarily bad, because it will keep the Chinese in check. Taliban may be dealing with them now, but they will go only so far, and China will not really rule Afghanistan any more than Russia or the US did.
