The USA will maintain its borders, but it will pretty much lose every overseas territory outside of the western hemisphere. The USA goes back to the Monroe doctrine and it either invades Cuba or Venezuela to begin building the Americas since it will lose access to every other country.

Brexit has also created a clear line, and we may see a fully independent EU. Turkey leaves NATO and the dollar loses its reserve currency status.

Quality of life will not degrade to USSR levels, but at least immigrants will mostly stop coming here, which is great. America becomes white again, and maybe it can rebuild itself after purging all the non-white foreigners as they can be rightfully blamed for our demise.
