We all need to watch “Red Dawn” I thinkJohn Milius was predicting the future of China’s invasion of the US. Watching it now.

His daughter produced and ditected “The Plot Against the President”a movie off of Lee Smiths proof the whole Russia, Russia, etc was a big fat lie. China has long been the real enrmy. movie in 2020

Bio of milius

A contemporary of other great filmmakers like George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Francis Ford Coppola, this writer-turned-director has had GREAT success in movies…and yet, at the same time, he’s been discarded by Tinsel Town, even after he made them millions upon millions of dollars.

The Silencing Of The Noble Savage

Can you guess why?

If you guessed his politics, you’re exactly right.

John Milius was a throwback to the men of the past. A mixture of a samurai and Teddy Roosevelt, John never shied away from his Conservative nature. As a matter of fact, he openly embraced it.

Milius always had a rule for whenever he signed a deal. If someone wanted to work with him, they had to seal the agreement by giving him a new firearm.

But if you watch the movies he wrote or directed, you can see why Hollywood thought working with him was worth going against their delicate Liberal sensibilities.

He made a LOT of hits.

However, it was his refusal to conform to Hollywood’s Left-leaning landscape that kicked him from the top of the mountain and turned him into a social pariah.

Milius understood the human condition as well as any playwright or screenwriter. He understood that beneath the façade, beneath the air of being civilized, there is an undercurrent of savagery. His work tapped into that primeval element and it resonated with the fans of his movies.

Whether it’s Lieutenant Kilgore’s love of napalm, Conan’s acceptance of violence, or Dirty Harry’s straightforward dispensation of justice, the words Milius wrote hit a primal chord in the American male…but that happened back before Hollywood was quite so decidedly entrenched in Liberalism.

John Milius: A Good Man Hated By Hollywood

His brand of film, as well as his personality itself, quickly began to rub his ever-more-Liberal Hollywood contemporaries the wrong way. Perpahs the most damage was done with his 1984 blockbuster “Red Dawn.”

“Red Dawn” is a story about what would happen if America was invaded by foreign armies. In the film, high school students stand up to fight to ensure that our country would not disappear into the dustbin of history in the face of a Russian land invasion.

But the movie came out in the middle of the Cold War, when America’s goal was peace with Russia. When the film premiered, there was a legitimate fear that John’s movie could put that peace in jeopardy.

It was around that time that his phone stopped ringing.

He would direct just two more films after that and write only six.

He did have some success with writing a producing HBO’s “Rome,” but since 2005, he has been silenced.

Hollywood deemed him an antique, a relic from the past that just doesn’t have a place in movies anymore.

But I say the complete opposite.

John Milius’ voice is needed now more than ever. We need a few more hard men doing hard things in order to save the soul of an era or country.

We have too many soft people in positions of power, and it’s high time that they were reminded that the spirit of men and the spirit of America is one of honor, strength, and bravery. There’s no place for lies, weakness, and cowardice here, and our films should reflect that.

At almost 80 years old, we may not have John Milius for much longer.

I can only hope this article reaches him so he knows how much he’s appreciated…and how much he’s needed.

Maybe we can get one more go-round with this maverick.

Something to remind Americans of who we really are.

Milius was the Goodman character in the Big Lebowski. He’s famous in HW but he always maintained his conservative principles.

I actually think he was prophetic in “The Red Dawn”. I’m Watching it now and just switch out Russians for Chinese and you have the present time.

We are in dangerous times now, dont let anyone fool you. Be careful Anons.
