Could be wrong but if that globemaster was getting ready to take off, the flaps and slats would be deployed. All that mess about pressure altitude, summer time Afghanistan, temps etc….

A body getting peeled off a "heavy" at slow, relative, airspeed, still below flap retraction speed is going to tumble…..lots and not appear relatively stable on way down.
