The attorney who represented the emergency management worker in Hawaii who sent out the "false" missile alert, Michael Green, is one of the attorneys representing 1000's of First Responders in Hawaii in a class action against "mandatory" jabs (effective today, Monday, 8/16/21).

>"Hawaii attorney Michael Green is spearheading a class-action lawsuit representing 1,200 first responders against the State of Hawaii against its mandate that they all be vaccinated for COVID-19.

>The class action lawsuit was announced at a press conference on Friday.

>“The heavy-handedness that we are now seeing is shocking to the conscious for Hawaii especially, and there’s got to be a voice,” Green said.

>“What is being done now is pitting people against each other,” he added. “I mean, almost to the point of violence. We have nurses looking at other nurses, outraged that they didn’t take the vaccine.”

>“You have parents of kids who have been vaccinated, ‘that’s what my parent decided’,” he continued. “Sitting next to a kids who has not been. They have religious reasons not to, or an absolute fear that they don’t want their son or daughter to be one of the 45,000 that died from it,” he claimed.

>In August, CDC Director Walensky made the admission to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that the COVID vaccines, which are still under Emergency Use Authorization, do not prevent transmission of the virus. Therefore, vaccination is not a public health matter, but an individual health concern that is between a patient and doctor.

Attorney Green also expressed concerns that those who refuse the jab will be fired "for cause" and denied unemployment.

Forbes' article on the story lists other states that have mandated vaccines for some groups of workers and some other class actions filed or contemplated:

Hawaii Fire Captain Pelaki gives an impassioned speech about having to decide between his freedom of choice or continue serving his community:

>"I spent the last 20 years of my life and 37 years watching my dad do this job, and because I didn’t want to put an experimental drug in my body, I got to give that all up?” Pelekai said.

>“If we’re not there, it’s because of them. It’s because of the mayor. It’s because of the governor,” Pelekai continued. “We want to be there! We signed up for this! This is what we want to do for the rest of our lives! We want to run in. We want to stop the bullet. We want to swim into the 40-foot waves to save your lives! That’s what we want. That’s what we wanted to be. And if we’re not there on the 16th, you can call Mayor Blangiardi and thank him.”

800 more people joined the class action over the weekend and more lawsuits (private sector and students) may be coming…

>The three lawyers representing the plaintiffs filed the complaint on Friday evening. The defendants- the county mayors, the Governor, and others- will be served on Monday. The legal team told KITV4 tonight, since this hit the news, another 800 city workers asked to join the lawsuit.

>And they've taken what they say are "thousands" of requests from private sector workers and students to open up other class action lawsuits. Michael Green, Kristina Coccaro, and Shawn Luiz - who work at different firms but joined forces for this case -say they are planning to do that.

Hawaii is among the most liberal states in the country. Yet there is still fight, it seems, left among some of her residents when things just aren't right.

Correction on spelling and title for Captain who gave the empassioned freedom-of-choice-over-what-enters-your body-or-lose-your-job speech.

Instead of "Hawaii Fire Chief Pelaki," it should read:

Capt. Kaimi Pelekai of the Honolulu Fire Department.
