I haven't watched the video, but the subject is very important. I did a dig on the NIH and learned some very disturbing things about two people who were very key in getting the NIH built into the largest funding source for medical research in the world. The two people are Albert and Mary Lasker.
Here's a quote about them from her biography on Wikipedia: "Together they were the first to apply the power of modern advertising and promotion to fighting cancer."
