America Last: Biden Will Not Prioritize Americans Over Afghans in Afghanistan Evacuation

President Joe Biden is not planning to prioritize thousands of American citizens stranded in evacuations from Afghanistan, as the country falls similar to that of the Fall of Saigon in 1975, over Afghan nationals applying for visas to the United States.

Pentagon press secretary John Kirby confirmed to Fox News on Sunday evening that the administration will not give priority evacuation to Americans in Afghanistan over Afghans applying for visas.

As Breitbart News reported, the State Department and Defense Department have said there are โ€œthousandsโ€ of Americans left in Afghanistan.

โ€œOnce we get more airlift out of Kabul, weโ€™re going to put as many people on those planes as we can,โ€ Kirby told Fox News:

According to an anonymous source at the Defense Department who spoke to Fox News, the administration is considering fast-tracking some 30,000 Afghan nationals into the U.S., sending them to Fort McCoy in Monroe County, Wisconsin, and Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, using the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program.

The Biden administration, though, is seemingly expanding its intake of Afghans beyond those who would qualify for SIV status โ€” typically interpreters and their family members โ€” to include thousands who worked for military contractors, U.S.-based media outlets, or a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Afghanistan.

Biden Admin Gives Unthinkable Instructions To Americans Trapped in Kabul, Afghanistan

The U.S. State Department on Sunday instructed Americans in Kabul, Afghanistan, that their best chance of survival is to โ€œshelter in place.โ€

In other words, the Biden administration is essentially advising Americans to hide.

โ€œThe security situation in Kabul is changing quickly including at the airport. There are reports of the airport taking fire; therefore we are instructing U.S. citizens to shelter in place,โ€ the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan said in a statement published on its website on Sunday.

The embassy then advised people to make sure their paperwork was in order, even as the Taliban were sweeping through Kabul and taking over the presidential palace.

โ€œU.S. citizens wanting assistance in departing the country should register for any option that might be identified to return to the United States, and must complete this Repatriation Assistance Request for each traveler in their group,โ€ the embassy notice said.

โ€œSpouses and minor children of U.S. citizens in Afghanistan who are awaiting immigrant visas should also complete this form if they wish to depart. Please do so as soon as possible. You must complete this form even if youโ€™ve previously submitted your information to the U.S. Embassy in Kabul,โ€ it said.

Latest security alert from US Embassy in Kabul: "We are instructing U.S. citizens to shelter in place. The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan has suspended consular operations effective immediately. Do not come to the Embassy or airport at this time." pic.twitter.com/U81fjEsXNx
