US History [ABCs]

SIS [FBI] C_A

Did the 'covert' counterintelligence branch of the FBI end?

Or, was it expanded into a new agency?

Double meanings exist.

SIS is good?

Counter Intelligence Agency? CIA?

Counterintelligence Branch of the FBI??

CIA branch of the FBI?

Isn't the CIA explicitly forbidden from operating domestically?

Is this a "work around"?

That would be quite illegal, would it not?

My bad, I thought the CIA was forbidden from operating domestically. I see that their expansion into domestic work with the FBI was expanded under Mueller in 2002.

Interesting.
