strange, why did the plane tip over? were they trying to turn it around?

I'm definitely not a pilot, but I would have tried to keep it steady until I could jump out with a parachute, or was the plane at too low of an altitude?

I would have tried to coast or whatever it is called, to land it somehow.

Thank you for the explanation and information.

I was under the belief that passenger planes are designed to manage with an engine failure, but then I would guess that they have a built in system that detects this and adjusts the autopilot so that the plane doesn't roll over due to asymmetric thrust.

The prototype plane had likely not autopilot engaged, or even installed, but I would have hoped that the pilots would have training for such circumstances.
