My understanding has always been that the Taliban was formed to fight against the opium trade in their country and that's why the corrupt media portrays them as bad guys.
The media is now lumping them in with Al Qaeda and ISIS but if they were terrorists, wouldn't we see some terrorism now instead of them riding around in bumper cars and having milk and cookies in the President's mansion?
Wouldn't they have taken the government hostage instead of allowing them to leave, stuff like that.
