When you pick on boomers, know that THIS boomer graduated HS and entered the workforce in earnest (no work / no eat) in June of 1970. My first child was born in 1973, the second in 74. even as my wages crawled upward, my purchasing power took a dump. I was NEVER able to buy a house until I married a woman with some savings.
