HIPPA is a privacy issue that basically says NO ONE can ask or is entitled to YOUR personal medical info (except your dr, your health ins provider, People YOU choose to supply it to for medical reasons.)

VAX records, similar to cardiac issues, diabetes, and such, are a record of your personal medical info. Employer is not entitled to them unlessyou chooseto share. Your employer CAN ONLY get it from you, as they legally cannot get it from your dr.

If the employer COULD get it from your dr, they would have done so already. The fact they are saying it is NOT a hippa violation for them to have it (from you) should tell you all you need to know.
