before ww2, the American people had enough of democrats, the American people demanded the party dissolved, the democrats dragged America into war, it was the first time in history the democrats created a requirement that asked your political affiliation. republicans were sent to war to die and democrats were kept at home. the thinning out of republicans changed the tide and allowed the democrats to rule the country for the past 100 years.
