It does have something to do with you. You are freaking out about who is pushing it. Who cares who's pushing it? Do you decide what you do with your body because of who's pushing it? They can push all day long. They have no say over your body. Relax. They can demand til they're blue in the face, but they can only rattle you if you let them.

Who are [they] to acknowledge them, anyway? They are not worthy of your attention.

Started using a mix of turmeric and baking soda as toothpaste because of the antiseptic properties and no chemicals.

Anon's dog got cut by a hog today

  • pretty deep in the ham - and I found where turmeric was routinely used both orally and topically for dogs as a pain reliever and antiseptic. Tried feeding it to him and he wasnt having it, so mixed turmeric, lard and olive oil (which also has antiseptic properties) and poured it in the wound twice today. He's still stove up but the wound stopped bleeding and looks considerably better already.

According to this article, turmeric is also good for colds and flu. It's a spice bought in the spice section of the grocery store. Just fyi.

4 Benefits Of Turmeric In Influenza / Flu

Turmeric is a broad spectrum anti-microbial agent: it has virucidal properties against many viruses.

Most viruses have a specific structure wherein the portion that causes infection is covered by an encapsulating region.

When in contact with a human cell, the infected portion is released into the cell and left for multiplication.

A study proves that curcumin specifically inhibits the activity of such viruses and very low concentrations of curcumin are required to deactivate the influenza virus.

Lab studies demonstrate that curcumin inhibits the activity of avian flu viruses. National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan discovered a novel activity of curcumin in relation to influenza virus.

Further, the study demonstrated that curcumin acts at early stages of infection and it inhibits the activity of a protein called nuclear factor kappa B which controls inflammation and reducing its activity lowers replication of the virus.

They also proved that unlike other anti-viral drugs that give rise to drug resistant strains, curcumin does not cause any drug resistance.
