I assumes he was promoting vaccine knowing most of his supporters wouldn't take it based on his word (excellent President, but not gonna inject something based on his advice) and trying to help democrats by making it the Trump vaccine and Orange Man Bad, so can't take it. (All the while taking distribution under military control, so that it could either be replaced with placebo or prevented from being tampered with by putting something other than what was emergency authorized in the syringes.)

On vaccines (even if harmful) - why wouldn't they push chemo-therapy as a vaccine for cancer? If you do it before you get cancer it might prevent it, so just put everyone on a once a year chemo to prevent it.
