Aussie anon here. My Mum and I are the last two people in my extended family not to get the vaccine. My Mum is almost 60 and used to smoke for ~5-10 years when she was 25-30, has been under great stress for the last 5 years, but other than that is very healthy.
We live in Sydney and are currently under strict lockdown. We can't travel more than 5km from our home, can't see friends/family in different houses, even the playgrounds are shut. Our premier is saying that until NSW/Australia reaches 80% vaccination rate AND the case numbers get lower (they're currently at approximately 68 0 per day - the highest it's been in Sydney) the restrictions won't ease.
I've sat with her for dinner every night for the past 18 months telling her everything of interest I read on this board and the research I do. She knows everything going on is fucking suspicious - how they're forcing vaccines on the public, how they're banning Ivermectin/HCQ, she knows Bill Gates is a slimy fucker and that the rich are getting even richer off these vaccines. But she refuses - or can't - see the bigger picture about what's happening on a global scale.
She told me tonight that she doesn't want the Pfizer because its mRNA, but she's made up her mind that she's going to get the AZ shot because she thinks that's the safer option and that her immune system is weak and that if she catches the virus she'll get very sick.
My elderly grandparents were forced into getting the AZ shot last week because my nurse sister who thinks she knows everything wouldn't stop bugging them. Thank god they or anyone else in my family hasn't experienced any side effects yet, but who knows what the future holds.
I will be the last person in my family who hasn't gotten the shot. I've made up my mind that this is the hill I'll die on, even if vaccine passports become a thing in Australia, even if I lose friends, even if I catch the virus and die. I'm feeling very alone right now.
Is anyone else going through the same thing with their family? Please tell me I'm not alone
I don't want to play their games, I'd rather fight for my rights and freedoms and be locked indoors for the rest of my life than pretend I've got vaxxed.

God bless. My mother is a big believer in Ivermectin and has found a treatment plan, however no GP in Australia is willing to prescribe it. Their governing body sent out an email to all GPs earlier this year saying if they choose to treat covid with methods not approved by them (ie Ivermectin, HCQ) they run the risk of having their license stripped.
Anyone willing to ship this Aussie some Ivermectin from the States?
