It will be 20 years when I swore this oath in April. I was in Baltimore, the first airport to be federalized. I stood up to the challenge our nation was facing and rendered assistance in the transformation of 7 airports across the country.

The creators of this document used very calculated words. I swore an oath to defend a document. This isn’t an oath to do what I’m instructed. I am obligated to think about each thing I do and respond in accordance with my oath. This is personal responsibility. This is what you have to exercise to remain a free society.

This is not an oath to do what insert your boss here, Donald Trump, or Joe Biden commands. Each action you take needs to be measured and weighed against your oath.

Once before in TSA I was called into action. With a routine use incident report form, the powers that lead us attempted to remove our 5th amendment rights. I remembered my oath and drew my line in the sand. The battle was won, I received a Letter of Reprimand for my hard work. It was conduct unbecoming of a supervisor to defend the constitution that time.

Today there is a much greater risk on the line. I am prepared to be terminated from my employment for my stance. The line in the sand is unchanged. I will not compromise the oath I swore before God.

To require my freedoms be removed so someone else can feel safe is against the Constitution. Anyone who trades liberty for safety will get, and deserve neither. If you learn your history it reinforces this idea very clearly.

This vaccine mandate that is coming down should be halted at the top. The leadership of this country is declaring we must prove vaccine status; however, voter ID is not something needed. I do think there are a few brave souls left in the country. I for one will stand up for liberty. I will draw my line in the sand. I will not bow to this removal of my rights. I will not reveal my vaccine status. Forcing me to take a test is a violation of my 4th amendment rights. I will not allow my biological information to be tested without due process. The next right removed just might be my life. History repeats itself.

What side of history are you going to be on?
