If you bring something up from that deep, it usually explodes.
Would the DNA be ripped apart into fragments or scraps?
Maybe then those fragments could be spliced into a common virus, but no one would have an isolated sample of the novel virus?
Vaccines would contain only DNA scraps rather than dead whole viruses. Hmmm…
