February 29, 2020: The U.S. and the Taliban in Afghanistan signed an agreement for "Bringing Peace" there "between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan".

It had four parts:

1) a guarantee and enforcement mechanisms preventing in Afghanistan any group or individual to go against the security of the U.S. and allies.

2) Guarantee, enforcement mechanisms, and announcement of a timeline for withdrawal of all foreign forces from Afghanistan.

3) After announcement of withdrawal in the presence of international witnesses, that Afghanistan will not be used against the security of the U.S. and allies, the Taliban will start intra-Afghan negotiations with Afghan sides on March 10, 2020.

4) A permanent ceasefire will be an item on the agenda of the intra-Afghan talks, in which members will discuss date and terms of ceasefire, implementing the method of carrying it out, to be announced with the completion of agreement over the future political position of Afghanistan. In the details explaining step one (there is no step five):

"The United States is committed to withdraw from Afghanistan all military forces of the United States, its allies, and Coalition partners, including all non-diplomatic civilian personnel, private security contractors, trainers, advisors, and supported services personnel within fourteen (14) months following announcement of this agreement, and will take the following measures in this regard…."

Trump knew Biden would be president when this was to complete. Biden failed to keep the agreement, leading to the Taliban taking complete control of Afghanistan. This would have been at the end of July, 2021. Brilliant! Biden would own the "disaster" that would occur. Had he kept the agreement, this would not have happened. Full wording at link:
