Don't do the soc media, but I wouldn't put it past anyone to try to muddy the waters. Wouldn't be inconceivable that a group effort could be made to pull something of that nature off; that being said, again not sure how CA's ballots are packaged.
Said it the other day, since that freakazoid a week or two ago went viral with its "Oh I used the wrong pronouns", every one of those freaks are gonna coat tail and jump that bandwagon. If it worked for one…. These people should be nowhere near children
