Children’s Health Defense Sues Rutgers University over COVID Vaccine Mandate

The lawsuit alleges, among other things, that Rutgers is working with Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson to study and develop their vaccines in on-going clinical trials, and will benefit financially if more people are required to take the shots.

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) along with 18 students on Monday filed a lawsuit in federal court against Rutgers University, its board of governors, Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway and others over the university’s decision to mandate COVID vaccines for students attending school in the fall.

According to the complaint, the Rutgers vaccine requirement “is an affront to human dignity and personal freedom because it violates our basic right to control our bodies.”

The lawsuit states that in a free society, “all people have the right to decide their own medical treatment — especially to decide what to inject into their bodies. And every person has the right to make that decision voluntarily, free from coercion by anyone, and to be fully informed of the benefits and especially the risks of that decision.”

The lawsuit alleges Rutgers’ policy is a violation of the right to informed consent and the right to refuse unwanted medical treatments.

The complaint also alleges the policy is a breach of contract because in January 2021, the university assured students COVID vaccines would not be required in order to attend school. Just two months later, Rutgers flip-flopped and issued new requirements for taking the shot prior to attending classes.

According to the plaintiffs, Rutgers is working with all three manufacturers — Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson — to study and develop their vaccines in on-going clinical trials, and will benefit financially if more people are required to take the shots which, until fully licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), are defined by the FDA as experimental.

Biden And Milley Inflated Afghan Army Numbers, Pentagon Report Shows

President Joe Biden and Gen. Mark Milley drastically overstated the size of the Afghan army in recent weeks, claiming it had more than 300,000 soldiers at its disposal when it in fact had less than 200,000, according to a Pentagon Inspector General report.

The report, released July 31, details that the Afghan army had 182,071 soldiers as of April, far lower than the numbers Biden and Milley, the chairman of the joint chiefs, put forward publicly. Biden said as recently as Monday that the U.S. “trained and equipped an Afghan military force of some 300,000 strong.”

Biden was combining the Afghan military and police forces, the latter of which numbered 118,628. Combining the two would have resulted in a total of 300,699 security personnel in April, but the report stipulated that force numbers had decreased significantly between April and its July release.

Milley also got the numbers wrong in testimony before Congress on June 17, though he was far closer than Biden.

IRONSIDE: Trusted insider charged for alleged role in Melbourne cocaine importation

A 55-year-old man faced Melbourne Magistrates' Court yesterday (Thursday 19 August 2021) for allegedly using his role as a trusted insider to aid the importation of more than 160 kilograms of cocaine into Victoria.

The Melbourne truck driver is the sixth person charged over the $40 million drug shipment, which was seized by Australian Federal Police and Australian Border Force officers as a result of Operation Ironside before it could reach the community.

The AFP launched Operation IRONSIDE SOUTH-BRITANNIC after intercepting messages about a large-scale cocaine importation destined for Melbourne, via Sydney, from Hong Kong in late May 2021.

It is alleged a transnational criminal syndicate operating out of Hong Kong and Turkey was using encrypted communications to coordinate the shipment, estimated to be worth more than $40 million dollars, via an onshore criminal syndicate leader in Sydney.

AFP investigators, with assistance from ABF, were able to intercept the cocaine - which was concealed in air filters - when the consignment arrived in Melbourne on 31 May 2021.

The alleged Australian-based coordinator of the transnational organised crime syndicate, a 41-year-old Sydney man, and four Victorian men were charged in June (2021) over their alleged roles in the importation.

The 55-year-old man was charged yesterday (19 August 2021) with aiding and abetting the importation of a commercial quantity of border controlled drugs, contrary to sections 11.2(1) and 307.1(1) of the Criminal Code (Cth).

The maximum penalty for this offence is imprisonment for life.

Police will allege that between 27 April and 4 June (2021), the man used his position as a truck driver to divert the attention of authorities and assist the alleged criminal syndicate leader with the planned cocaine importation.

AFP Southern Command Detective Superintendent Anthony Hall said police will continue to be relentless in the pursuit of anyone who uses their work or community position to enable drug trafficking or other criminal activities.

"The drugs these transnational organised crime syndicates are bringing into Australia are facilitated by trusted insiders whom abuse the access and influence they have available to them through their employment, such as the accused is alleged to have in this case," Detective Superintendent Hall said.

"That abuse of industry knowledge and access to the means to be able to perform a facilitation role as part of the criminal syndicate enables drugs to be sold on the streets of every major city and in our regional towns.

"The cumulative result of their insidious criminal activity is that drugs are sold to our children and people in our communities whom are vulnerable. Their actions increase the availability of illicit, harmful drugs that feed addiction, which fuels domestic and family violence, pushing our hospitals, police and welfare support services to breaking point.

"We are working closely with all our partners to bring to justice anyone who seeks to harm our communities."

ABF Acting Assistant Commissioner James Watson noted the impact when law enforcement agencies collaborate.

"The ongoing arrests speak to the far reaching impact of cross agency cooperation among law enforcement agencies," Assistant Commissioner Watson said.

"The ABF is working closely with the AFP and industry to identify and weed out those who seek to exploit their trusted position within the supply chain. My message to those people is simple: we have you in our sights."

China Urges World to Stop Putting Pressure on Afghanistan, Guide it Through Power Transition

The Taliban's* successful takeover of the power vacuum left by the fugitive president Ghani on Sunday has sparked a media and political whirlwind in the West, with strong warnings about the ramifications of a resurgent Taliban rule for Afghanistan and other countries.

China urges the international community to refrain from putting pressure on Afghanistan during its ongoing power transition, as well as from using it as a score-settling battleground, the country's State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Thursday during a phone call with his UK counterpart, Dominic Raab.

"The international community should encourage and guide [Afghanistan] in a positive direction instead of exerting more pressure," the translation of the Chinese Foreign Ministry's statement reads. "This is conducive to the early political transition of the Taliban and all parties and factions in Afghanistan, is conducive to stabilizing the domestic situation in Afghanistan, and is conducive to reducing the impact of refugees and immigrants."

Moreover, according to Wang, under the basis of non-interference in its internal affairs, China is willing to continue to "play a constructive role on the Afghan issue."

The foreign minister underlined that with the insurgent group's coming to power, the situation in the war-torn country remains unstable and uncertain.

Wang also noted to the foreign secretary that the current situation in Afghanistan demonstrates that the Afghans, in general, do not support the externally imposed government which "lacks a social foundation." He then stressed that military intervention is not an option for resolving regional hotspot concerns.

According to China's top diplomat, the international community "should fully respect the independence and sovereignty of Afghanistan and the will of the people, engage in more dialogue and guidance," rather than using it as a geopolitical battleground.

In his turn, the UK foreign secretary supported the notion that the international community should process the lessons from the situation, emphasizing that "Afghanistan should not become the epicenter of terrorism again," as per the Chinese summary of the discussion.

Raab reiterated his country's commitment to accommodate 20,000 Afghan refugees on its soil, increase humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan and help the UN in aiding the neighboring countries' reception of additional refugees.

British Man In Singapore Given 6 Weeks In Prison For Not Wearing Face Mask, Psychiatric Assessment

A British man in Singapore was handed a 6 week jail sentence for not wearing a face mask while a judge also ordered the man to undergo a “psychiatric assessment” because he argued against the efficacy of face coverings in court.

40-year-old Benjamin Glynn was arrested after footage of him not wearing a face mask on a train in May went viral online.

“According to reports, Glynn delivered a rant in court – in which he described the proceedings as “preposterous” and “disgusting” – and said masks were not effective in preventing the spread of Covid,” reports the Guardian.

This outburst prompted the judge to order the man to undergo a psychiatric assessment before the case could continue.

Glynn was subsequently convicted for violating COVID rules, his behavior towards the police who arrested him and “causing a public nuisance.”

Having already served two thirds of his sentence, Glynn was set free but then immediately deported.

As we have previously highlighted, there is no evidence that face masks provide substantial protection against catching or spreading the virus.

A peer reviewed study involving 6,000 participants in Denmark revealed that “there was no statistically significant difference between those who wore masks and those who did not when it came to being infected by Covid-19,” the Spectator reported.

As we previously highlighted, Dr Colin Axon, a SAGE advisor for the UK government, dismissed face masks as “comfort blankets” that do virtually nothing, noting that the COVID-19 virus particle is up to 5,000 times smaller than the holes in the mask.

“The small sizes are not easily understood but an imperfect analogy would be to imagine marbles fired at builders’ scaffolding, some might hit a pole and rebound, but obviously most will fly through,” Axon said.

Even Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted that masks were pointless at the start of the pandemic, when he wrote that a typical store-bought face mask “is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material.”

Jovan Pulitzer Uncovers Not ‘Watermarks’ in Ballots – But Better

Jovan Pulitzer uncovers more than watermarks.

Yesterday Jovan Pulitzer reported that the Arizona Audit Report of the 2020 Election in Maricopa County will be provided to the Arizona Senate on Friday:

But on Wednesday Pulitzer released something nearly as significant. It was a Pulitzer Surprise! It Wasn’t Watermarks They’ve Been Looking For. It’s Much, Much Better!

Jovan Pulitzer surprised us all once again and likely scared the hell out of any election fraudsters in the process. In a video he released Wednesday on Twitter, Jovan explained that identifying markings are in fact on the ballots and are exactly what they were looking for during the audit! He explained it wasn’t bamboo paper as audit detractors claimed, and it wasn’t secret “watermarks” either.

It was, however, a secret printer identifying protocol established years ago by the Secret Service to help catch counterfeiters. Here is the video:

The matrix decodes the placement of the markings and reveals the precise identity of the printer by serial number along with the exact date and time the document was printed.

Jovan Pulitzer has proved to be an invaluable asset and amazing patriot in the fight for election integrity and truth.

Report: State Department Memo Warned of Afghanistan Collapse Back in July

A classified State Department cable from July suggests that Secretary of State Antony Blinken was warned that Kabul would fall into Taliban hands by the August 31 troop withdrawal deadline, a report from the Wall Street Journal on Thursday revealed.

The Wall Street Journal reported:

About two dozen State Department officials serving at the embassy in Kabul sent an internal memo to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and another top State Department official last month warning of the potential collapse of Kabul soon after the Aug. 31 troop withdrawal deadline, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the cable.

Sent via the State Department’s confidential dissent channel, the memo warned that the Taliban would quickly gain control of Afghanistan and “offered recommendations on ways to mitigate the crisis and speed up an evacuation.”

The WSJ continued:

The cable, dated July 13, also called for the State Department to use tougher language in describing the atrocities being committed by the Taliban. The classified cable represents the clearest evidence yet that the administration had been warned by its own officials on the ground that the Taliban’s advance was imminent and Afghanistan’s military may be unable to stop it.

On July 8, just five days prior to this memo warning of an Afghanistan collapse, President Biden expressly said that Kabul would not be another repeat of Saigon in 1975.

“Mr. President, some Vietnamese veterans see echoes of their experience in this withdrawal in Afghanistan. Do you see any parallels between this withdrawal and what happened in Vietnam?” Biden was asked on July 8. Biden replied:

None whatsoever. Zero. What you had is you had entire brigades breaking through the gates of our embassy — six, if I’m not mistaken. The Taliban is not the South — the North Vietnamese army. They’re not — they’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability. There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy in the — of the United States from Afghanistan. It is not at all comparable.

At this stage, it remains unclear whether this intelligence made it to the president’s desk or if Blinken acted on it. But this new revelation contradicts several public statements from Biden himself and other administration officials, including notably Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, who this week said no such intelligence existed. Given the dire timeline laid out in this memo, it also raises questions about why Biden would take a vacation when he did at Camp David – the presidential retreat at which he was vacationing when Afghanistan fell to the Taliban.

Pennsylvania GOP Senate Leader Jake Corman Is Preventing Sen. Doug Mastriano from Issuing Subpoenas for Forensic Audit

Pennsylvania Republican Senate leader Jake Corman has squashed Doug Mastriano’s quest for an audit of the PA 2020 election results.

Senator Mastriano put up a video on his Facebook page blaming the “powers that be” for keeping his committee from meeting and issuing subpoenas.

The video was subsequently taken down.

Senator Corman is just another RINO-Democrat who is unwilling to look at the greatest American crime in history.

What a disgrace.

Election experts Professor Dave Clements and Seth Keshel estimated conservatively at least 424,000 fraudulent votes in the state of Pennsylvania in 2020.

Penn Live reported:

A backer of former President Donald Trump’s effort to carry out an Arizona-style “forensic investigation” of Pennsylvania’s 2020 presidential election suggested Thursday that fellow Republicans in the state Senate are blocking his efforts.

In a video posted Thursday on Facebook, state Sen. Doug Mastriano did not name names, but blamed “the powers that be” for preventing him from holding a meeting of the committee he chairs to vote on issuing subpoenas to counties…

…Mastriano needs a quorum of his committee to meet.

Senate Republican leaders have been largely silent about Mastriano’s efforts while it has sowed discord in the Republican caucus. Democrats oppose it.

Biden Admin Charging Americans Up to $2000 Per Evacuation from Kabul

President Joe Biden’s State Department is said to be charging Americans stranded in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan to be evacuated from Kabul’s chief airport.

Politico reports:

Even though U.S. officials tell NatSec Daily and others that evacuation flights from Kabul will be free, people trying to catch a plane in the Afghan capital say differently. One person said State Department staff were seeking large payments — up to $2,000 — from American passengers and even more from non-U.S. citizens.

When we relayed what this person told us to the State Department, a spokesperson didn’t deny that this is happening.

“U.S. law requires that evacuation assistance to private U.S. citizens or third country nationals be provided ‘on a reimbursable basis to the maximum extent practicable.’ The situation is extremely fluid, and we are working to overcome obstacles as they arise,” the spokesperson said.

The report comes as global outrage continues over Biden’s botched withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan. The administration has been hit with blistering condemnation because of its inability to pin down the exact number or Americans stranded in the war-torn country or guarantee their safety as they attempt to make their way to the airport for evacuation.

Earlier Thursday, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby conceded he couldn’t provide an exact number of stranded Americans.

White House officials stated Tuesday that the “self-identified” figure is roughly 11,000, while media outlets have suggested the number is up to 40,000.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said Wednesday that the military will evacuate individuals “until the clock runs out or we run out of capacity,” sparking concerns regarding whether the Biden administration may end up leaving some American citizens behind:

And quite frankly, we’re not close to where we want to be in terms of getting the numbers through. We’re going to work that 24 hours per day, seven days a week. And we’re going to get everyone that we can possibly evacuate, evacuated. And I’ll do that as long as we possibly can, until the clock runs out or we run out of capability.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) called for Biden to expand the U.S. military’s perimeter at the airport in order to assist Americans who may be unable to reach it for evacuation due to the Taliban presence.

Cotton, who served in Afghanistan with a Provincial Reconstruction Team, said in a statement:

President Biden’s ill-planned, chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan has stranded thousands of American citizens behind enemy lines, turning them in effect into hostages of the Taliban. Instead of ordering rescue missions to save our people, as our allies have done, the Biden administration is relying on the Taliban’s good graces to ensure the safety of our citizens. As a result, terrified Americans are being forced to run a gauntlet of armed terrorist checkpoints to reach the safety of Kabul airport. My office has received numerous reports of American citizens and Afghan allies being harassed, beaten, and abused by Taliban thugs. These reports are in addition to the televised scenes of chaos at the airport perimeter.

“This catastrophe of the president’s making must come to an end,” he continued. “It’s time for President Biden to authorize the military to stop this rolling humiliation, expand the perimeter at Kabul airport, and rescue Americans trapped behind enemy lines. Anything less amounts to an abandonment of our fellow Americans and a shameful abdication of duty in a moment of crisis.”

Apple’s new ‘child-safety’ features face fresh challenge over censorship & privacy from over 90 rights groups

Apple’s controversial plan to scan user photos and conversations for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) faces renewed criticism after rights groups warned it would “censor protected speech”, threaten privacy and endanger children.

In a letter published on the Center for Democracy and Technology website, a coalition of more than 90 groups from around the world urged Apple CEO Tim Cook to drop plans to introduce the surveillance feature – known as a CSAM hash – to detect child pornographic imagery stored on the iCloud.

The letter, published on Thursday, points to the use of “notoriously unreliable” machine learning algorithms to scan for sexually explicit images in the ‘Messages’ service on iOS devices. It notes that this could result in alerts that “threaten the safety and well-being” of young people with abusive parents.

“iMessages will no longer provide confidentiality and privacy to those users through an end-to-end encrypted messaging system in which only the sender and intended recipients have access to the information sent,” the groups warned.

They added that the technology could also open the door to “enormous pressure” and legal compulsions from various governments to scan for images deemed “objectionable” such as protests, human rights violations and even “unflattering images” of politicians.

Polish regional council votes to retain ‘LGBT free’ stance despite risk of €2.5 BILLION EU funding loss

A Polish regional assembly has decided against revoking a 2019 decision promoting ‘LGBT-free zones’ in spite of receiving a warning from the European Commision of having more than €2.5 billion cut from EU funding.

On Thursday, the regional council in Poland’s southern Malopolska region voted against an opposition motion to revoke the 2019 resolution, which declared the strongly Catholic area as being free from ‘LGBT ideology’. The measure banned the promotion of homosexuality and other minority sexual identities in public spaces such as schools.

Votes from representatives of the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party were key in ensuring that the LGBT-free zoning legislation was not revoked, according to local reports.

The local authority received a letter from the EU this summer over the designation. According to the Polish council, the missive warned that the region could lose more than €2.5 billion of EU funding if it did not revoke the motion.

Last month, the Commission said in a statement that it had “decided to send a letter of formal notice to Poland for its lack of cooperation” with the EU executive by failing to provide requested information about the adoption of such resolutions by “several Polish municipalities.”

“The Commission is concerned that these declarations may violate EU law regarding non-discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation,” it added. “It is therefore necessary to carry out a detailed analysis of the compatibility of the resolutions with EU law. In order to complete this assessment, the Commission needs adequate and comprehensive information from the Polish authorities.”

The result of Thursday’s vote in Malopolska was heavily criticized by Polish MEP Robert Biedron for "throwing €2.5 billion down the drain".

“Once again, the hatred and anger of PiS turned out to be more important than the good of citizens, and they will suffer the most from this decision,” he said in a tweet.

Jan Duda — father of current Polish president Andrzej Duda and leader of the southern Malopolska regional council — suggested that rather than revoke the motion, it needs to be rewritten. “We cannot simply deny what was said in 2019,” Dude commented, adding: “We need to meet and rewrite this declaration, as the one from 2019 has been misunderstood.”

Some Polish conservatives have said that the LGBT-free zones are not discriminatory against gay people, but rather against ‘LBGT ideology’.

LGBT rights have been the center of an ongoing row between Poland and the EU. Earlier this year, the European Parliament declared the whole of the European Union an ‘LGBT Freedom Zone’, partly in response to the Polish designations.
