I was sarcastic … the science of virology has existed, let's ssay around 100 years and lets say tens of thousand of doctors have spent their lives studying things that don't exists, and the current care in big chunk of illnesses presupposes the existence of viruses, and they try to develop therapeutics and vaccines against something that does not exists, and other disciplines in the field of medicine also presupposes thei exoistence, the scientist can see them with Electron microscopes and have been able to crystallize them their DNA or RNA is routinely sequenced and used to identify the species etc … it's like Flat Earth, if you believe in FE you have to discard most of physical sciences at same time.
