Maybe I'm wrong, but I think anyone who has seen Oliver Stone JFK's film remembers the figure of X played by Donald Sutherland. X was (a sort of precursor of Q) actually called Col. Fletcher Prouty, an honest and valiant patriot. He was certainly one of the first to try to lift the veil of lies on the Pickle Factory of the time. He wrote several books, one of which is still very interesting and full of information. I leave the link for those who want to read it.
