I know, here in the Dog Days of Summer, it may feel like the situation seems too deep to climb out of, when taking into consideration the feelings of shock, surprise, and yet, pleasant contentment. However, as the world turned, and it did, maybe it became, sickeningly clear that you're sort of, maybe, a little, unprepared for what you've been briefed with by your staff, as of lately.
Look, we don't have a clue what you'd need to handle a situation like, well, they didn't share it with us, and we can't just check anyway! It's illegal! Too many things, have lost due attention, and may have been overlooked; depriving us of the benefits therein. Maybe this is by design, sir. You can't stand there, being the man who needs to make serious decisions, and you don't know who/how to ask, "Will you guys rat me out if I took a few bumps before we went into the WarRoom?" - The problem is, your staff actually understands more than you could've anticipated, and they've been YEARNING for a moment where you'd just take a risk, and ask… "Maybe we should call POTUS, and let him be where he belongs, so I can go home and get better, ladies and gentlemen."
We, the American people, too, (well some of us, others would tell you straight up) are in a similar situation, where they like the fact that "you won," but maybe you AND Kamala, need some serious backup, why?

Get Psaki to initiate the call, and then, just say, "Did you see what the 'kunkouple' set up for 'us' on the boards?"
POTUS replies, "Joe, want me to bring you some of FLOTUS's Chicken Noodle InstaHeal UltraSoup for POTUS?"
By which Joe instantly retorts, "Please, we've been booted due to optics, so that would be, just like you… warm-and-fuzzy."
