Your approach, because it is targeting religions unequally and dividing them by how much evil is 'within' them, is the very approach that the cult is weaponizing and using to cover themselves.
Your approach of even including religions at all would sacrifice what is needed to expose the cult.

It is actually logically irrelevant which particular religion 'most' are hiding behind, when it comes to the SOURCE of the dialectic evil being pushed by the cult.
If they instead picked Christianity, or Islam, or whatever, it would be equally misguided to associate the evil to those religions simply because the evil chose them to infiltrate 'the most'.
Judaism happens to predate both Christianity and Islam, so it would make historical sense that a multi-generational bloodline cult of satanists would historically be 'mostly' behind the oldest of them.
But your point is well taken. It is indeed a problem when the worst evil is covered by a narrative of 'those who were taught to trust'.
But we can break through their own cover by not playing by their rules of 'identifying' and 'associating' their evil to any religion, but by playing by our own rules, derived from the enlightenment, where each individual can figure out the truth, using logic, empiricism, and evidence.
