It's truly not that hard. A household with a stay at home parent may not need that second car, etc.
Ditch the things you pay for that are not necessary, recycle, etc.
Also, family size will instantly increase. I've been part of a homeschooling family with a family business(had my personal disaster, too, so I'm not saying I'm expert). No back to school shopping with extensive lists of crap to buy for the teacher. Family can grocery shop, travel, etc. on its own schedule. So…life with children can be much easier which can lead to welcoming more of them.
I can teach a child to read for about $30. That's for the book "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Daily Lessons" plus some paper and pencils for the writing exercises.
At the end of the 3 months a child is reading at a solid 2nd grade level.
