My feeling is still that however he returns, it will be to a different America. The old structure will be done away with. President of a Free America maybe, President of Earth? I used to think this was only about draining the DC swamp, but it obviously goes much further.
I've adjusted to life with an old blackberry passport. You can find 'em new / unused still. A lot of limitations but you get used to it for basic functionality.
I think that fact is sketchy. Congress approves the votes presented to them by the State electors, on the appointed day and time. That was already done. There are not rules of redress, as far as anon is aware, for state electors to withdraw or 'correct' the situation.
AFAIK this would be uncharted waters, which is fine with me. But I don't think it is as straighforward as some might think.
