This article is very short, but I found it to be a helpful summary/reminded of a previous human vaccine that was contaminated with a monkey virus that seems to be associated with human cancers.

For any anons knowledgable on this subject: Is it possible that at least some lung cancers attributed to asbestos and/or smoking are actually the result of SV-40? Also, I understand that people can transmit this virus to their children. In the comments on the above piece someone mentioned p53. Can anyone explain this aspect of inheritance?
