I have chronic myloid leukemia and am in remission yet still taking the oral chemo med to keep it at bay. I work in a hospital and was forced to vax or lose job. Waited until last minute and got the J & J one shot vax. My previous visit, my Dr advised me to get the jab and would not give me an exemption but will fight for one if and when a booster is mandated.
Have had no issues as of yet but wonder if I'm a ticking time bomb?
I have my 6 month appt with my oncologist next month. Will be interesting to see what my bloodwork indicates.
