Came to a realization today.

When I was more "normie", when I heard about an important event or situation, the answer was right at hand - that is, the narrative was already set by the time I heard about it.

Here, we see the sausage made. "Soon" is no longer days or weeks. We get very early access to the important trends or situations prior to the narrative being set. This is great as it gives us an opportunity to influence the narrative before it is set in the minds of the normies, but it also is also very tiring as there is never a tight and near-term conclusion to problems or issues.
