Poles are shifting. Anon has a compass watch and takes a bearing ever week or so at home. Try it out. You can even leave a stick or two on the ground pointing where the north is and reference that measurement every week to see how it changes. You might be very surprised by what you see over a period of weeks or months. The magnetic field is changing rapidly.
