For whomever this may concern:
Yesterday it was reported here and on other platforms that Denmark abolished all COVID restrictions. This is flat-out not true.
I asked for better sauce than videos of people reading an international article, but was dismissed with "Watch the fucking video".
As I hadn't really digged for it myself yet at the time I conceeded with the remark:
<I just find it weird that everyone but the country doing it is reporting on it
Now I have done some research (and to help me, our dear dictator Mette Frederiksen even held a press briefing about the situation, kek)
It is correct that we abolished the Mask mandate, about a week ago.
But the Corona-passport is still going strong and we are still vaxxing left and right (84% vax rate was the last official number)
As for lockdowns; No regions are currently on lockdown, but they say they have a keen eye on specific regions like Voldsmose as possible future lockdown candidates as they say the infection rates are too high.
We are also shopping around for the third jab currently…
So every article you see trying to put Denmark up as a beacon in reversal of the restriction should do proper research first.
