There’s another way to handle deadbeat employees without backlash of being sued or reported to the state. All one merely has to do is drastically reduce said employees down to just a few hours a week. At which point the employee has no choice but to accept the reduction in hours or quit and find a new job. I’ve done this COUNTLESS times with my business and it works every time…
