I had to play the role of Darth Vader to come to this conclusion but here goes. I've worked in a lot of places mainly because I was with a temp agency for a long time because I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. Most people are completely useless to hire on, I'll be honest. They either get sick too often, take 1 or 2 days off a week and think that's ok, work way too slow, or work slow on purpose to maintain their own agenda.
Now here's the problem for employers - it's hard to get rid of people without getting destroyed/sued. Most people nowadays have or claim "qualifications" but are useless on the job site because they lack the critical thinking that was interestingly left out of schools though? So now how do I get rid of these dumbfucks where even if I was honest with them about their poor performance they'd sue my ass to the ground with false/real allegations? Guess I could clot shot them, call it a day and look for new talent.
Anyways, TLDR; companies saturated with too many useless eaters. To avoid largescale firing fallout better to kill them off with jabs. Workplace & stupid people culling more than anything else. Play the role of an evil genius time to time you'd be surprised what conclusions you can come to that are quite accurate.
