The DS survives on cash. Digital currency is a double edged sword. It will make money crimes hard to commit; drug dealing, laundering, human trafficking, etc. But under a regime like we have currently, it would be too easy for the gov't to seize your only available assets for petty things to feed a hungry megalithic structure. It's coming, but there's gotta be some sort of balance between a system that drives "immoral" things to a black market vs a wild wild west of everything is permitted wide open free market. What does that system look like?
