You're right. If we really needed the vax to survive, Trump would've said "listen, if you are a supporter of mine I need you to listen very carefully. But INSTEAD, because the vax is a blank, he says what you would expect, which is, "hey I got the vax, it's safe. Go ahead and get it, I did. But if you don't that's ok because you have to have your freedom."
