The Protocols of Zion are required reading for anyone who wishes to understand the world in which we live. They exhibit a pathological hatred for non-Jews, and a desire to undermine and exploit them. Many people think "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" is "hate literature" and fraud.

Nobel Prize winner Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote that the book exhibits "the mind of a genius." Pretty good for a hoax, wouldn't you say?

I believe the Protocols are genuine. They are lectures addressed to Jewish Freemasons (probably at the Mizraim Lodge in Paris) detailing an incredible plan to overthrow Western Civilization, subjugate mankind, and concentrate "all the wealth of the world… in our hands." They were given as a regular series of workshops to these Masons in Paris. The author describes them as an "exposition of our programme" and often begins by saying, "Today we will discuss…"

Largest US Food Distributor Having Trouble Keeping Shelves Stocked; Price Shock Imminent

One of the defining features of the early phases of the covid pandemic, when public fear was rampant and when few wanted to take chances that supply chains would remain viable, is that for a brief period US supermarkets resembled those of the USSR circa the late 1980s: many items were in short supply, and some - notably toilet paper, clorox, and perishables such as milk - were out of stock for weeks.

Fast forward to today when fears about the Delta strain are being fanned by the liberal media, the US may be facing a similar shortage of key products… only this time for a very different reason: not a surge in demand, but rather a drop in supply.

According to Bloomberg, some of the largest U.S. food distributors are "reporting difficulties in fulfilling orders as a lack of workers weighs on the supply chain." Take distribution giant Sysco, North America’s largest wholesale food distributor, which is turning away customers in some areas where demand is exceeding capacity.

Worse, food inflation is about to soar: the company said prices for key goods such as chicken, pork and paper products for takeout packaging are climbing amid tight supplies. In particular, production has slowed for high-demand, labor-intensive cuts like bacon, ribs, wings and tenders, Sysco said. And if intermediate and final wholesale prices are "rising", just wait until they emerge on the consumer side.

The culprit for the coming price shock? Biden's catastrophic stimmies and universal basic income which has unleashed havoc on the US job market and led to historic labor shortages:

"There are certain areas across the country that are more challenged by the labor shortage and our volume of orders is regularly exceeding our capacity,” Sysco Chief Executive Officer Kevin Hourican said in a letter to clients earlier this month. “This has, unfortunately, led to service disruptions for some of our customers."

This concern follows reports that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled Kabul, Afghanistan with over $169 million in U.S. dollars.

“President Ghani may have been self-dealing with U.S. funds intended for the Afghan people, having fled the country with enormous sums of cash totaling well over a hundred million dollars. If true, this was not the dignified exit of a benevolent head of state, but that of a coward and grifter. The United States must do everything in its power to seize any illicitly gained funds that were corruptly embezzled by President Ghani. If he diverted funds from their intended purposes, the U.S. should bring him to justice,” wrote the lawmakers.

“It is unclear how President Ghani obtained such a large sum of cash, but the amount and nature of his flight from Afghanistan raises the specter that President Ghani illegally and corruptly embezzled these funds from U.S. assistance intended for the Afghan people’s welfare and defense,” continued the lawmakers. “It is imperative that corrupt foreign government officials not be permitted to personally enrich themselves with U.S. taxpayer money intended to safeguard the welfare and security of the Afghan people. This is particularly the case where President Ghani’s reckless and cowardly actions likely contributed to the speed with which the Taliban took over the country and led to the resulting chaotic situation now faced by American citizens and our allies.”

The Republicans are requesting the briefings to understand how President Ghani acquired and transported the funds, the plan for recovering American taxpayer money, and how the U.S. plans to bring President Ghani to justice if he violated criminal statutes.

China Ready to Offer ‘Genuine’ Aid to Afghanistan, Cautions Nations to Lead, Not Pressure Taliban

The World Bank has predicted a 20% decline in international aid to Afghanistan in the wake of the Taliban’s seizure of power, which could still grow further, depending on the new government’s course. Already inadequate to meet the country’s needs, neighboring China could fill that gap and then some, giving Beijing leverage in Kabul.

Chinese firms are ready to “deliver genuine investment and technical support” in the wake of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, officials told the Global Times, but noted that the threat of serious Western sanctions was likely to endanger their plans. Beijing has banked heavily on the hope the Taliban can be influenced to form a moderate and stable government with the promise of regional economic integration.

Afghanistan isn’t a totally new realm for Chinese investors, but the US withdrawal, coupled with the lightning-quick Taliban victory, have created perhaps the best conditions for peace in the country in decades.

"We have benefited a lot from our business plans in Afghanistan in the past five years, and we believe the operation will run more effectively after the situation stabilizes,” Cassie, a Chinese worker at the China Town district of Kabul, where several Chinese-owned factories are located, told the Global Times on Tuesday.

US Versus Chinese Models

Because the US has pursued massive profit-making for its corporations in countries where it has intervened, Western thinkers have assumed China will have the same behavior as it becomes increasingly engaged in Afghanistan. Numerous articles and think pieces have been written about “$1 trillion in minerals” up for the taking and how Beijing is “about to tuck Afghanistan under Its Belt and Road.” However, as one official from a Chinese state-owned enterprise told the Global Times, their business activities "will be in line with Chinese national strategy," which is interested in stability first.

Many of them have, however, correctly estimated that Beijing will be hesitant to sink money into the Central Asian country, with which it shares a 44-mile-long border, at least until the Taliban provides some concrete results on its promises, which include a pledge to end support for the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) terrorist group. The Islamist terrorist group, which is connected to al-Qaeda and has sought refuge in Afghanistan in the past, is a Xinjiang separatist group that wants to separate China’s westernmost province from the country - a cause given Western blessings in recent years, as the US reorients to strategically compete with Beijing.

British Columbia throws out Charter of Rights, brings in a vaccine passport with no exemptions

The Overton Window is a concept, named after the scholar Joseph Overton, that describes a political idea’s acceptability.

Everything within the “window” is possible; if it’s outside the window, it’s just not possible. But you can move the Overton Window, to change what’s possible.

Overton’s colleague came up with six levels of possibility for an idea. At first, it’s unthinkable; then it’s merely radical; then it’s acceptable; then it’s sensible; then it’s popular! And then it’s policy.

And one of the ideas of an Overton Window is that simply by proposing an extreme idea, everything else gets shifted towards “normal”.

Think of how that works with drug policy — people who talk about normalizing hard drugs, even having government supervising drug injection sites for homeless people. Do you think that moved the marijuana debate from radical to acceptable?

That’s the Overton Window.

And isn’t it shifting quickly these days.

No judge has yet done anything meaningful to stop the lockdowns. And the trouble is, given the Overton Window, things that were shocking 18 months ago are now normalized.

Eighteen months ago they knew this was all shocking, so they told us a key lie — two weeks to flatten the curve. Just give us two weeks to slow down the rate at which people are being infected — just so that we don’t overwhelm the hospitals.

So how did the Overton window get shifted? Well, it’s easy to see in retrospect. The masks were key to it.

But making masks mandatory was key — it normalized public health orders infringing on the rights of the healthy, the innocent.

With masks, there were always exemptions. Every mask law in Canada allows people with certain conditions to be exempted.

If you’re a quadriplegic, for example; if you have asthma or another breathing problem; there have been psychological exemptions, for example, for women who have been raped and having their mouth covered or gagged is traumatic.
