Recap from an earlier post this afternoon around 2pm central.

In the Northwest part of Arkansas near Fayetteville CJ30's are being seen circling the city and landing at a small regional airport called drake field that can barely support large aircraft landing and taking off. It can be done, they have air shows sometimes, but they never use this airport for military, because they have an air national guard runway 30 miles north and they also have the air national guard in Tulsa.

They have been taking off and then circling the surrounding areas at low altitude, and at first I thought it was them getting photos before taking off or something, but it's spreading out beyond that city and to the surrounding areas. It's now night time and I ventured back into the city and saw more taking off and circling.

What is going on? I'm starting to think something big is happening because they shouldn't be using that unless they're dropping of afghans, but why not their airport, and why circling at low altitudes and continuing through the night?

Could just be some weird exercise, but it's alarming with all that's going on.
