Einkorn.com is where I now get my flour.

6 wks ago i decided it was time to get into fighting shape. i stopped eating bad things completely, switched to a diet heavy on fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains - to date I've dropped 9 lbs. I slap walk a few miles every day - get up at 5:30am to do that because Texas in August.

Also a bit after finding this place a few years ago I eliminated alcohol

I've gleaned a lot of info from anons over the years, and I contribute everything I find which might help someone else.

I credit this place and anons with a lot of good things which have happened to me - and I found it so much by accident that I really couldn't say how I did it. It all started with my very liberal son saying something about Q being the biggest troll on the internet, and saying he liked to make the anons go REEEEEEEEE. Life is weird

I did the keto diet about 25 yrs ago. Wasn't called that then (found it in a book called Protein Power).

Tried it again a few times but my body didn't seem to respond the same way - so I decided to try this. It is working for me, and probably because of the combo of diet, exercise, and the supplements im taking I feel healthier than I have in decades. And im 55

I will check it out- im always learning new stuff.

Protein Power laid out the digestive process and what carbs and sugar do to your body - that was what convinced me to try the 'keto' diet - people called me crazy (this was 1995ish) - I dropped 30 lbs in about 3 months. But I was 29 then.

WAY harder to lose weight at 55
