I don't know, but that's genius. I know there are apps that people use to line their own pockets that do this. Running those would work too until they figured out how to identify the footprints.
Nah. Your browser is fingerprinted. When you visit a news story that has a Facebook pixel or like button, it gets added to your fingerprint hash. They don't care about knowing your name, just attributing data to the right places.
