Any diesel mechanic anons here? I have a fleet of trucks. The DEF sensor is always breaking. There is now a huge backlog for the DEF Sensor and I am being told there is a 5-10 week backlog. All shops are full of trucks with down sensors. Anyone know how to bypass the sensor?
In the middle of the worlds greatest pandemic and shortages of products and my trucks have to have a EPA mandated DEF Sensor.
It's full. The sensor says empty and then the trucks can only drive 5 mph.
What's the bait? Trucks are dying because of a stupid sensor and now a 5-10 week backlog growing daily. I find this rather convenient. Shortages anyone?
