Scottsdale Unified School District board president apologizes after profane comment

During their board meeting on Aug. 24, Scottsdale Unified School District board president Jann-Michael

Greenburg apologized for uttering a profane word following a woman's public comment. The profane word

was uttered following accusations by a woman during the public comment period that Scottsdale Unified

orchestrated a neo-Nazi incident on campus. Greenburg had interrupted the woman to refute her accusations,

and once again refuted her accusations before uttering the profane word quietly. However, that moment was

captured by microphone.

 

"I'm very sorry about that. I apologize to the community, I apologize to

my fellow board members and to staff and parents watching," Greenburg said.
