The $1.8billion spherical entertainment venue, called the MSG sphere, will stand at 112-metres tall and hold 17,500 seats
It will feature the largest and highest LED resolution screen in the world — 19,000 x 13,500 pixels — covering an area larger than three football fields
On the exterior of the building, 54,000 square metres of programmable lighting will give those who can’t get inside the sphere a show of their own.
The venue's construction started three years ago, in 2018, with the drilling of nearly 600 piles of the excavation of some 84,00 cubic meters of material to support the weight of the enormous structure and make room for a 5,000 square metre basement for underground events, dressing rooms and other amenities inside the building.
