Michael Yon on Warroom yesterday said the US needs to retake the airbases they left ASAP.

In hindsight, some of those airbases should have been been deserted, rather defended until the evacuation was complete. Trump was right.

Bottom line looks like the Bidan run evacuation gave up easier to defend airbases too early, and is now so scared of a Mogadishu like aircraft incident, for political reasons, that they're willing to leave US citizens behind. I wonder if, to compound this clusterfuck, a decision to reinsert forces and retake bases needs a political discussion and vote as well. Is so, it's not very comforting to realize that your safety in a dire emergency depends on politicians addicted to face time on TV,

They say never assume malice (Bidan is a Chinese puppet) when the actual cause is abject stupidity, politically, across the board in DC.

Either way, this should be grounds for a thorough military investigation, as they would do, for example, when a ship's captain is involved in an accident/grounding, with the appropriate head-rolling as a consequence.

No reason, as far as I can see, that it shouldn't happen. If not, we're actually in dark times.
