NC State requiring student athletes to be vaccinated to play in road games

NC State is not requiring its student-athletes to be vaccinated for COVID-19, but they must be vaccinated in order to play in games on the road.

An NC State spokesperson told WRAL the athletic department has a policy in place for unvaccinated athletes, which will limit travel to coaches, student-athletes and staff who are vaccinated or those who have an exception from the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity.

The policy will be applied at the athletic department's discretion.
