We are at war. No analogies, no metaphors. We have been infiltrated, and are at the point of occupation. There is no reason for the withdrawal debacle, other than organized failure to justify continuing the invasion. There is death, there is long lasting severe negative economic impact. We don't have rubble, yet.
But we are being herded and goaded into a Civil War, a very "fight for our lives". Ask anyone on either side.
