Interestingly there is no mention of anyone working for [them] to help Americans trapped in Afghanistan.
Or anywhere else for that matter.

But when the prosecution has mountains of legitimate, irrefutable evidence against you, it will not save you.
Assuming the story is true, she has every reason to panic.
And so does everyone associated with her, whether they are in custody or not.
