Galtofficer dies after crash while en route to Caldor Fire

One of the two officers who was hurt in a head-on crash in

Sacramento County while heading to the Caldor Fire has

died of his injuries, authorities said Friday. Galt police officer

Harminder Grewal succumbed to his injuries Thursday, the

police department said in a news release. On Friday, a procession

was held for Grewal that started in the Sacramento area and ended

in Lodi, which is where he is from.
